The Things I Should Have Said

For everything I keep inside my head. And some of the things I don't.

Here's to the Future-

I got my license two days ago.

It was a pretty easy test. I had no points deducted, but I have this feeling that I should have. It makes me think back to stories I'd heard where people said they passed because the tester thought they were… pretty? That was not the case, I know. But, I would feel weird driving if I knew that happened. Although, maybe it never has. Anyway, I’m glad that bit of my growing up is done with and out of the way. I'm ready to be on my own.

Today my mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday. Which reminds me; I never told you about my family.

My mother is Roseanne. Well, her name is Mary but if you ever watched that old television show- that's my mother. Loud, funny, obnoxious and I love her. She is the last person you'd expect this from but, she majored in fashion in college. She's friends with Kenneth Cole. She is a Curves addict. She doesn’t have a job right now and I really wish I could get her a studio to show off her earrings and jewelry that she makes with such a passion. My dad, I’m certain, is a secret agent. Not really the logical thing you’d expect an intelligent teenager to write about their father, but I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if he let that slip one day. I have no TV characters to relate to him, but he’s funny when he’s around his friends. Which surprised me because he hates making conversation with large groups of people. My little sister is well, she’s me. She doesn’t look like me or act much like me but, I find our similarities everyday. Beyond our childish sibling bickering, I love her very much.

Again, about me:

I'm a student. And I like to be involved in the community  but more that all of those things, I’m an actress.
I like to think it's that simple. I’m a writer. I make films. No, you probably haven’t heard of me. And if you never do I’ll be okay with that. I don’t want the fame. Or the stalking paparazzi. But, I would welcome both with open arms.  I want to act. Oddly, I need the chance to pretend I'm someone else. I need to perform. I need to entertain. I want it with all of my heart and I'm not sure what I’ll do if I can’t get it. I’m trying though. I’m strong willed. I will succeed.
